The Best Homemade Snicker-doodle Cookies!

One of my favorite things to bake, and eat are my homemade snicker-doodle cookies! They have the best texture, aren't overwhelmingly sweet, and just the perfect cookie! They also happen to be my husbands favorite cookie. He loves when I make them, and the smell fills the whole house. So if your a huge fan of homemade cookies, and snicker-doodles then keep reading!



Preheat Oven 375 degrees


Ingredients


1 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp double-acting backing powder

pinch of salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon sugar

1 egg

1/2 tsp of vanilla

5/8 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup cane sugar


Instructions


Sift together:

all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon sugar


Combine:

Cane sugar, vegetable oil

Add to this mixture and beat well after each addition:

egg and vanilla.


Add the flour mixture all at once and beat well. Shape the dough into 1/2 inch balls. Dip balls in separate bowl of more cinnamon sugar.


Place balls on a baking sheet, and press down on them with a fork.

Bake about 10-12 minutes on a lightly greased cookie sheet


After they finish cooking let them rest, then enjoy!
